littlebigdetails:

Google Maps iOS - Shaking the device allows the user to submit feedback.

This one should be under littlebigdetails. As in, little details that are a big nuisance.
At first, I thought it was genius! Pick up on a subtle human tendency (shake technology when we’re frustrated with it), and use it to promote feedback - Genius UX work! Unfortunately, I very rarely shake my phone (like many semi-intelligent people, I’ve come to realize that this has no affect on software technology), and is rather sensitive (moving your hand too fast will set it off).
So, although I commend Google for pushing UX design and sparking a novel, if not rather ingenious feature, I think it should go.
